SAIC Volkswagen sold 100,000 cars in August, and the Passat Pro, the top brand of mid-to-high-end cars, is about to be launched

On September 9, 2024, the latest data released by the Passenger Association showed that SAIC Volkswagen achieved a significant increase in sales in a single month. The "mid-to-high-end car top brand" Passat Pro also made its first public appearance and opened reservations. The addition of two main models is expected to set off a new wave of sales boom.

In response to the national "trade-in" policy, SAIC Volkswagen has maintained a strong competitiveness in the fuel vehicle market under the strategy of "oil and electricity together" and "oil and electricity together", and new energy models have shown a rapid growth momentum.

In August, SAIC Volkswagen delivered 14,130 new energy new cars, an increase of 23.3% year-on-year, setting a new monthly delivery record for the year. In terms of fuel vehicles, its core single product still maintains its leading position in the sales rankings. The Tiguan family and the Tuon family also consolidated SAIC Volkswagen’s leading position in the SUV market with excellent results.

SAIC Audi’s performance is equally remarkable, with cumulative sales of nearly 25,000 vehicles in the first 8 months, a year-on-year increase of 92.8%. Among them, the A7L accumulated sales of 18,000 vehicles, an increase of 148.6% year-on-year; Q6 and Q5 e-tron showed a positive growth trend, reflecting the strong competitiveness of SAIC Audi brand in the luxury car market.

Continuing the hot-selling trend in August, SAIC Volkswagen launched the second model of the Pro series, the Passat Pro, once again pushing the benchmark of mid-to-high-end cars to new heights. The Passat Pro follows the design language of the European version of the Passat in the same vein. The car is over five meters long and the wheelbase reaches 2871mm, bringing a large two-row leapfrog space, comparable to the C-class executive car. In terms of intelligence, it is equipped with a triple screen full of technology, coupled with AR real-life navigation, w-HUD head-up display system, and the L2 ++ level IQ. Pilot intelligent driving assistance system, the product power is fully advanced. This also means that SAIC Volkswagen has completed the preliminary layout of "intelligent fuel vehicles" in the SUV and sedan markets, marking the acceleration of the "intelligent" launch of SAIC Volkswagen’s entire line of products. The new car will be launched on September 10.

At the same time as product innovation, SAIC Volkswagen has also shown great innovation and sincerity in its marketing strategy. The new compact SUV Tuyue Xinrui not only sincerely "puts the price", but also the first non-operating car owner who buys the Tuyue Xinrui can enjoy the guarantee of the vehicle’s powertrain (including engine, gearbox, front and rear wheel drive) from SAIC Volkswagen’s authorized dealers for life. On the yearning road to pursue a better life, a steady stream of power is "paid for" by SAIC Volkswagen, demonstrating SAIC Volkswagen’s confidence in product quality and giving users "everlasting" company and protection.

Over the past 40 years, SAIC Volkswagen has deeply cultivated the Chinese market, accurately grasped the needs of Chinese users, and achieved high-quality development in both fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles through continuous enrichment of product matrix and innovative marketing. In the future, in the face of great changes in the market and many challenges in the industry, SAIC Volkswagen will continue to adhere to the German quality and "in China, for China" concept, build a product layout covering various market segments, and further meet diversified user requests.
