Reveal the behind-the-scenes of "Running Man", 70% of female choreographers follow Running Man

Can you believe it? Behind every successful outdoor reality show, there is a group of tired and paralyzed TV people. However, they are also a group of tired and happy people. In Zhejiang Satellite TV’s "Run Brothers", which has dedicated countless laughter to the national audience, it is not only seven stars who are running hard. Standing behind them is a huge team of more than 200 people, who form another super "running team" that is not afraid of hardship and fatigue.

What kind of team is the "Running Group" behind the scenes of "Running Brothers"? To find out, reporters go deep behind the scenes to feel their ups and downs. When looking at this super-popular variety show from a different angle, respect will spring up spontaneously.

Who Issued the Mission and Shout Out?

Two iconic "voiceovers" from two chief directors

As a fan of "Running Brothers", you must be familiar with the two "voiceovers" that appear in every show: one is the "Iron Masked Man" who releases missions every time, and he always says "no" mercilessly in the face of the running men’s "begging for mercy" when facing high-difficulty challenges; the other is the "out" that floats in the air from time to time during the tearing of famous brands, which makes people suffocate. The running men always say that this voice is really terrible.

Through the interview, the mystery was revealed: the former came from Lu Hao, the director in charge of on-site execution; the latter came from Cen Junyi, the director in charge of screenwriting.

Did you make it? "Iron Mask Man" is actually guilty. Lu Hao said: "When I released the mission, my voice appeared. In fact, the Korean version is also like this. The director only made a voice and did not appear deliberately. When I announced the mission on the spot, I was also a little nervous and under psychological pressure. Everyone said that I was iron-faced, but in fact, I was very weak. The previous episodes were even more ridiculous. If the running men teased me, I would ignore them." For example, in the previous episode of the program, the running men were going to put on the acupressure board, and they had lingering fears about the acupressure board. They begged if they could wear socks. Lu Hao directly said "no", and he had to be so "cruel"? Lu Hao smiled and said: "In fact, it is still for the effect of the program, and I cannot put water. But after the effects of the show came out, I was still willing to let them not work so hard. For example, the acupressure board was supposed to play four rounds, but the effect of two rounds has already come out. I said that I can not play, and many rules will be adjusted. After all, the status of the reality show is unknowable. Sometimes I worry that the difficulty is too difficult for them to play, such as the Korean shuttlecock kicking, I asked them if they want to give up? They insist on not giving up. "

In the young team of the "Run Brothers" program, Lu Hao, a 45-year-old veteran TV personality, said, "Although there is still a generation gap with these post-80s and post-90s teams, I am still very fashionable. I like the new things very much, and I have been integrating them all the time." He also often pays attention to the feedback from netizens. Interestingly, he specifically mentioned a detail, "Many netizens are complaining about my voice. In fact, I can’t accept my voice until now, but everyone’s sound quality is different." Lu Hao laughed at this.

Who is running with the running men?

70% of them are girls, and they have changed several with Zheng Kai’s

Compared to traditional studio shows, the production of outdoor reality shows is a super physical job that expands exponentially on physical energy. In each show, the audience can always see the stars running and panting, but more tired than them is the camera crew behind the scenes carrying more than ten kilograms of machines for fear of missing any shot.

Chief producer Yu Hangying once revealed that the show was filmed for three days each time, recorded two episodes, and used more than 40 camera personnel and hundreds of camera seats at a time to produce more than 300 hours of material. Then, through 20 editors, it was cut into a feature film in 20 days to a month. "Ten hours of non-stop running, one-on-one follow-up, and physical strength must be very good. Therefore, before the show started, all the staff joked that they would need military training for a month. Many people practiced long-distance running in advance and made various physical preparations." Lu Hao introduced to the reporter director: "Our official shooting starts at 8 am, but our staff will start preparing at 4:30 am. The longest shooting is at 3:30 am the next day, and the intensity is very, very high. But because it’s interesting, I don’t feel bored or tired."

"In our team, there are more girls, less boys, and 70% of them are girls," so it is conceivable that these running women must have the speed of the wind to keep up with the running men. Lu Hao said with a smile, "In terms of following the director team, Wang Baoqiang is the most tiring, because he has kung fu, and he climbs walls and windows; like Li Chen, who runs a lot, it is also very hard to work with him; Zheng Kai’s female director has also changed several times, Xiao Kai has the speed of a leopard, and most people can’t keep up. During the recording process, everyone often can’t find people, because people run away and there is no shadow. It is relatively easier to be with Wang Zulan’s director, just hide together." Once there is a lost follow-up situation, other seats will be filled immediately, and then the follow-up team will be notified through the walkie-talkie. At the same time, celebrities usually take DV to shoot themselves.

In addition to running, the staff also have to work hard in the game part of a certain fixed venue. Are you worried that the running men will be in danger in the game? In fact, there is no need to worry at all. Lu Hao said, "All the games are tested by the director himself, and almost all of them are checked by myself. Even the configuration of a small seat belt and a needle balloon, I have to confirm. We have done it ourselves, we can do it, and so can the artists."

The show’s popularity is accompanied by maximum filming pressure

"Fan crowd" cancelled the shooting, making the female director cry on the street

A program can be so popular that it attracts attention and attracts onlookers, which is naturally the greatest comfort for the program team. But at the same time, it also brings huge pressure to the program team.

Director Cen Junyi said: "The fans are too enthusiastic about this matter. After the broadcast, no matter where they are recorded, they will encounter this situation. From Wuhan to Hangzhou, and then Chongqing to reach the peak. The most memorable thing is the shooting in Chongqing. The original plan was to do a big game in a local square. There were 56 hot pot siege circles on the scene. It was originally a part worth looking forward to, but the fans were too enthusiastic. They were surrounded by water, and the road next to them was crowded with people and cars. The whole traffic was paralyzed. The most nervous thing was that there were no guardrails around. For safety reasons, the filming had to be cancelled."

Legend has it that 100,000 people watched the scene that day, and the last female director cried bitterly on the street when she collapsed. Cen Junyi responded: "100,000 people is an exaggeration, but there are 20,000 or 30,000 people. At another shooting location in Chongqing, our itinerary was accidentally revealed. There were fans queuing outside the place from 4 am, and tens of thousands of people poured in when it was time to shoot." As for the female director who broke down and cried, Lu Hao told reporters, "In the Chongqing scene, we cancelled not only one part, but also the choreographers worked very hard. It was very difficult for our female choreographer to get the hot pot over. All of them were ready, and they paid a lot of labor and hard work. In the end, they couldn’t shoot. They couldn’t stand it psychologically. They broke down and cried."

The enthusiastic "sea of fans" caused the production team to cancel two shoots in Wuhan and one in Chongqing. In retrospect, director Lu Hao said: "After the games are set up according to the environment, it will be difficult to find a place temporarily. When our troops go over, two or three hundred people have to move. If we cancel the venue, it is equivalent to canceling a link, and the excitement of the show you will see will be discounted to some extent. Fans and audiences like the show and like to watch them run men. We fully understand this feeling, but it brings us a lot of pressure. In addition to the safety of the artists, there is also the safety of the onlookers."

"For the second season, we will try to avoid festivals, weekends, and places where people can gather easily," Mr. Lu said. Asked when the second season would meet with the audience, he said, "The second season will start filming in March. But after the first season, we never stopped."
